Mike Murphy focuses his practice on meeting the legal needs of small businesses and the individuals that run them. Over the course of his career, he has advised companies in many aspects of business, including entity formation, issuances of debt and equity securities, employment and hiring matters, mergers and acquisitions,  secondary sales, intellectual property protection, dissolutions, and initial public offerings.

Mr. Murphy began his career in Silicon Valley at the international law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and subsequently at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian LLP.
